Using the Line Chair on Your Tanning Ledge
Crafted with ergonomic principles in mind, this lounge chair is designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing posture. The Line outdoor chair fills with water for buoyancy resistance when used on a pool sun shelf. The chair features a bottom hatch that easily twists off to fill with water. The Line Ottoman is filled for weight through its two bottom openings by submerging it in pool water. Each hole is then plugged with the included rubber inserts.

How deep can the water be for the Tupelo Goods Line Lounge Chair?
The Line Lounge Chair is rated for up to 8" of water, making it a great fit for shallow sun shelves and baja ledges. For ledges from 9" to 11", the Tupelo Goods Bask Chair, Loop Chair, and Deck Chair are each rated for up to 11". For deeper ledges, shop by water depth.
Can I use the Line Chair on a vinyl liner pool?

How do I fill the Line Chair with water?
Twist off the hatch on the bottom of the chair, submerge it in the pool to fill, then replace the hatch. The water weight keeps the chair from floating on the ledge. To fill the Line Ottoman, submerge it so water enters its two bottom openings, then plug each hole with the included rubber inserts.
Does the Line Lounge Chair have armrests?
No. The Line Chair is an armless, low-profile lounge chair. If you'd like armrests with built-in cup holders, the Tupelo Goods Bask Chair is rated for up to 11" of water.
How much ledge space do two Line Chairs need?
Each Line Chair is 21.5" wide by 34" long. A pair with a 17" side table between them needs about 60" of ledge width, so plan on roughly 5 1/2 feet with clearance. What side table pairs with the Line Chair in the pool?
The Tupelo Goods Loop Side Table is rated for up to 8" of water, matching the Line Chair. The Fluent Side Table is rated for up to 12", so it also works if you later move to a deeper ledge.
