Using the Loop Chair on Your Tanning Ledge
The Loop Chair is made in the USA of heavy-duty UV-resistant polyethylene and designed for shallow pool water up to 11" deep. When filled with water, the chair weighs 130 lbs (30 lbs empty). It is rotationally molded and includes 4 silicone rubber protective feet.
While we encourage you to leave the chairs on the ledge when not in use, there are two situations we recommend you remove them from the pool:
- When highly concentrated chemicals are used (i.e. shock), we recommend you remove the chairs and only return them to the pool once chemical levels are back to normal.
- In the event of a freeze, please remove chairs and side table and drain for the duration of the freeze.
To fill and empty the Loop Chair, simply locate and remove the 2 plugs on the bottom of the chair with a flat-head screwdriver. Do not discard. Submerge the chair in the pool, allowing it to fill with water through the openings, then reinstall the plugs to seal the chlorinated water inside.

How deep can the water be for the Tupelo Goods Loop Chair?
The Loop Chair is rated for up to 11" of water. Once filled through the plugs on the bottom, it weighs 130 lbs, which keeps it settled on the ledge. For deeper ledges, shop by water depth to see in-pool chairs rated for 12" to 22".
Can I use the Loop Chair on a vinyl liner pool?

Should I take the Loop Chair out of the pool when I shock it?
Yes. When you use highly concentrated chemicals such as shock, remove the chairs and return them once chemical levels are back to normal. Otherwise, the Loop Chair can stay on the ledge when not in use.
What should I do with the Loop Chair in a freeze?
Remove the chairs and side table from the pool and drain them for the duration of the freeze. Remove the 2 plugs on the bottom with a flat-head screwdriver to empty the chair, and keep the plugs for refilling.
How much ledge space do two Loop Chairs need?
