Using the Deck Chair on Your Tanning Ledge
The Deck Chair is a great tanning ledge chair, made in the USA of heavy-duty UV-resistant polyethylene and designed for shallow pool water up to 11" deep. It is rotationally molded and includes 4 silicone rubber protective feet.
To fill and empty the chair, simply locate and remove the plugs on the bottom of the chair with a flat-head screwdriver. Do not discard. Submerge the chair in the pool, allowing it to fill with water through the openings, then reinstall the plugs to seal the chlorinated water inside.

The Deck Chair is rated for up to 11" of water. For deeper ledges, shop by water depth to see in-pool chairs rated for 12" to 22".
Can I use the Deck Chair on a vinyl liner pool?
No. Tupelo Goods does not recommend its in-pool furniture for vinyl liner pools. The Deck Chair has silicone rubber protective feet that can catch on the liner if the chair is dragged. For vinyl liner ledges, the Tenjam Woosah Chair and Mibster Chair are rated safe for all pool surfaces.
Deck Chair vs Bask Chair: what's the difference?
Both are Tupelo Goods chairs rated for up to 11" of water. The Deck Chair is slightly more compact at 29.5" wide, fills through plugs on the bottom, and offers an optional Sunbrella cushion set.
