Frequently Asked Questions
Will the Moon Chair work on my pool's tanning ledge?
The Moon Chair is rated for water depths up to 12 inches. If your tanning ledge or baja shelf is 12" deep or less, it's a fit. Its open-bottom design lets it settle naturally into shallow water without holding water inside the chair itself.
Is it safe for my vinyl liner pool?
Yes. The Moon Chair is part of Tenjam's SPLASH Series, which is safety-designed to be compatible with vinyl liner, gunite, and fiberglass pools. Its smooth surface and rounded edges are built to avoid damaging delicate vinyl liner surfaces.
How much weight can it hold?
The Moon Chair's rotomolded polyethylene construction supports a weight capacity of more than 500 lbs.
Can one person move it?
Yes. At approximately 33 lbs with a built-in rear handle, the Moon Chair is easy for one person to lift and reposition. Since it doesn't hold water inside the chair, it drains immediately when lifted, no drain plugs or tools required.
Does the surface get hot in direct sun?
Like any polyethylene pool furniture, the surface can get warm in direct sun, with darker colors feeling warmer than lighter ones. A quick splash of pool water brings the seating surface back down to a comfortable temperature before use.
